Welcome back #fitfam, today we’re going to talk about prioritising self-care and being intentional about YOU! In the simplest form, self-care is taking the time to refuel and replenish your own storage to be able to help those around you such as significant other, kids, family, etc. The method of self-care will vary by person, but the benefits are consistent across genders, cultures, and personal preferences.

The primary benefit I have noted is mood regulation – when you are feeding your own soul, you tend to be in control of your mood day to day and can handle stress better because you feel that you are operating at 100%. When this area of life is in order, other areas tend to flow more smoothly. In addition to mood regulation, a level of peace is functioning in your life that leaves you unbothered by the minutiae in life and you will see how your calm positively affects others around.

Next is self-confidence – you become a fan of yourself because you are taking time to get into what you like and who you are. This is important because self-confidence has affects in every area of your life. Decision-making is an area that will be impacted because it will allow you to believe in your decisions and trust your judgement more. You will know that you are making stable, well-informed decisions and you’re not moving on emotional reactions. That confidence boost will be infectious as you will be speaking life into your peer circle and success is soon to follow in abundance.

My hope is that my advice will inspire and drive you to the next level, please enjoy these tips!
