Easy Weeknight Meals
Seven Easy Weeknight Meals
We all live busy lives. I like to share with you some quick and easy meals. I have found some that I think will be great to try in your home. We all want our kids to eat well balanced meals even during the week, however when you work full time it can be a challenge at times to make that happen. With school and work all day it is nice to come home and relax, however you still have to figure out dinner. If you add on after school activities, you may be too tired to cook. The question of the day is not only, “What’s for dinner”, it is also “How will dinner be done before or after practice?” Sports moms, Dance moms, Theater moms, Band moms other school activities moms I know you can relate. Planning helps you not eat out as much and enjoy meals from home, even if you have a busy schedule.
Modern Proper has some really good quick recipes. I found one that I just had to add to my list.
When you want to feast at home, I found some great soup Ideas that I just had to share. When it is cold outside the best way to warm up is a nice bowl of soup. However, you may not want soup from a can, so these great recipes are homemade and quick.
- 15 Minute Wonton Soup
- Tomato Artichoke Soup with Fennel and Tarragon
- Moroccan Lentil Quinoa Soup
- Curried Cauliflower Soup
When you have been working hard all day, sometimes the last thing you think about is cooking dinner. The Slow Cooker is one of your friends that will cook the meal for you while your away. I love the smell of dinner cooking when I walk in the door in the evening. Taste of Home has some great slow cooker meals.
