Welcome back #fitfam, today we’re continuing this pivot on our journey into our ‘better’ series as we reset ourselves heading into summer! Entry #3 is a focus on eating better which can have amazing benefits overall. The toughest task for many of us to manage is to change our eating habits and developing a routine for tracking calories. Over time the tracking becomes more advanced, and we are able to drill down to specific areas of concern that might be affecting some of basic functions in life such as proper digestion and regularity.

In order to get to that point, we have to start somewhere and begin to eat better. I recommend beginning with giving something unhealthy up and resisting the temptation of consuming that thing. Keep in mind, this is something we are giving up for life because you want to live. What you’re doing is setting a standard of commitment with yourself to achieve a specific goal. Next, you’ll want to make the minor changes such as reducing sugar and fat and increasing protein in your diet. Because you’ve already committed to the bigger long-term goal, these micro-goals seem easier because you’ve done something bigger already.

Your goal is always to move the needle and give yourself something to reach for before you get to your destination. It keeps you hungry and motivated, literally. Eating less and changing what you are simple hacks to trimming the waistline and feeling better.

My wish is that my advance will inspire and drive you to the next level, please enjoy these tips!
