The Queen of Hearts

The Yard Milkshake Bar

Our Visit to The Yard Milkshake Bar in Georgetown, TX

February 7, 2021 was my oldest daughter’s twenty-sixth birthday. We decided to try a place that we haven’t ever been before but heard about it. We went to The Yard Milkshake Bar in Georgetown, Texas. We have heard great things about it and wanted to come and see about it for ourselves.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

The customer service was excellent. When they found out that it was my daughter’s birthday they came over with a candle and added it to her Ice Cream Treat. This place doesn’t just have Ice cream they have Milkshakes,  Floats, Cones, Edible Cookie Dough, Sundaes, Warm Drinks, Grab and Go Jars, Cookie Dough Pops, Special Order Ice Cream Cakes and Pies, and Shake Boss Half Gallon Milkshake. With all of this they have to offer, this is definitely not just your ordinary pit stop for Ice Cream.

     FLAVORS

They have so many different flavors to choose from that is so hard to pick just one. I went with my family so I was able to sample a little bit of everyone’s flavors, and all of them were good. My family and I had the following; The Queen of Hearts, which consists of Red Velvet Ice Cream and red marshmallow cream drizzle in a chocolate iced jar and added Valentine Sprinkles. They then topped this treat with red striped whipped cream, a heart brownie and a Queen of Hearts Rice Krispy card.  I truly love it, I couldn’t eat it all so next time I just might get the cup.

My youngest had the Unicorn in a cup, this treat was made with Cotton Candy Ice cream and they added purple marshmallow drizzle inside the marshmallow cream dipped jar that was rolled in sprinkles. The entire treat is then topped with rainbow and a sugar cone unicorn horn. My middle daughter had the Carmel in The Coconut  which consists of Salty Caramel Truffle and Coconut Chocolate Almond Ice Cream with caramel and chocolate drizzle in a chocolate iced jar rolled in mini chocolate chips. Topped with whipped cream, caramel, and chocolate drizzle, a scoop of Salty Caramel Chip cookie dough, and a Caramel Delight Girl Scout Cookie.

The birthday girl, also my oldest, got The Praline Pecan Waffle this treat has Praline Pecan and Butter Pecan Ice Cream topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and maple syrup, and a waffle. The two grandkids aged four and one we just got them  a little calf cup of vanilla ice cream, however they tore it up just the same.

     COMPLAINT

The only complaints that we found abut this place were that it did not have a rewards program and it was hard to make a choice for what we wanted because it all looked and tasted good.

     CLEANLINESS

The place was really clean, which with Covid right now this is very important. When someone leaves they immediately go and clean the table and disinfect it so it will be ready for the next customers.

     LOCATION

It is located in Wolf Crossing Center, 940 W University Ave #120, Georgetown, TX 78626.
